As being members of two specialties collaborating and working together in both clinical and academical grounds in the field of Pulmonology, we decided to achieve collaborative meetings at specialty societies level. Since it is necessarry to create common ideas about many issues, we suppose that,this synergy in academic meeting grounds would not only improve collaboration but also increase productivity and would be beneficial for time and source utilization. The holding and continuation of these meetings as a common activity of both societies would be significant since it would be the first example of an efficient and successfull synergy in Pulmonology group and we wish that it lasts long.
